Palawan appears to be an idyllic tropical island in the Philippines. But for a tiny network of environmental crusaders trying to protect its spectacular natural resources, it is more akin to a battlefield. Land defenders are being killed in record numbers, as Bobby, Tata, and Nieves risk their lives to stop politicians and businessmen from destroying what is left of the rainforests.
Directed by Karl Malakunas⋅ AUSTRALIA/PHILIPPINES/HONG KONG/USA/UK ⋅ 94 min ⋅ Partial Subtitles
