Description
What is mechanical advantage or disadvantage and how can we use it in the aerial arts to bend physics and defy gravity. Talking through the creation of simple mechanical advantage systems using rope and pulleys, we can create and use them to expand a rig's potential allow for live lifts or lifting heavier props or multiple artists.
This FREE session will not only cover the theory behind these systems, but will also give participants the opportunity to bring the conversation into practice inside a studio environment, experimenting hands-on with rigging concepts and simple mechanical advantage setups in action.
