Multi-talented songwriter Dean Lauderdale brings his debut album Life Lessons to the legendary King Eddy stage on Friday, September 22.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
About Dean Lauderdale
A talented multi-instrumentalist and songwriter hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Dean Lauderdale blends a harmonious combination of folk, rock, pop and country music, and is gearing up for the highly anticipated release of his first full-length album, Life Lessons. Scheduled to debut on September 22nd. 2023, the album is a testament to Lauderdale's skill as he took on the roles of songwriter, producer, performer, and audio engineer, showcasing his musical versatility and autonomy.
Having produced the album and playing almost every instrument, he has taken the initiative to form an exceptional band, dedicated to authentically capturing the album's essence and delivering a captivating once-in-a-lifetime experience that will bring the music from the album to life.
He has graced prominent venues in Calgary such as Olympic Plaza and The Jubilee Auditorium, while also participating in noteworthy outdoor events celebrating Calgary's vibrant music culture, such as "Downtown Calgary" and "Autumn Activations."
Beyond his solo endeavors, Lauderdale enriches the music community as a music teacher, collaborator, and director of a 14-piece a cappella ensemble with the Youth Singers of Calgary. Additionally, he contributes his talent to the world of dance by composing original instrumental music for Alberta Dance Theatre.

Established in 1905, the King Edward Hotel was Calgary’s second oldest hotel and the longest operating bar and hotel when it closed in 2004. In 2008, the Eddy was acquired by the National Music Centre (NMC) and in collaboration with the City of Calgary.
