David Gerry Flute Ensemble

The David Gerry Flute Ensemble of McMaster University is directed by Hamilton flutist and music educator Sara Traficante.

This multi-voice flute choir is comprised of students from across all disciplines at McMaster. The December concert will feature the "Falconer Suite" by Catherine McMichael, with original melodies that evoke the folk music of Scotland. Also on the program are various works by Brahms, Holst, and Bartok featuring the piccolo and bass flutes. We will close with Latin jazz by Fabrice Lucato.
