Ouroboros” Re-Imagining Mexican Dance: Dance traditions allow us to connect and evolve, blending the past and present. "Ouroboros" by Peña explores contemporary trends in Mexican folk dance, merging styles like Mexican folk, tap, flamenco, and modern dance. This production highlights the transformation and hybridity in modern Mexican folk dance, symbolizing continual renewal. Peña honors traditional practices while envisioning new future approaches.
