Dan Julien's Holly Jolly Hometown Christmas

Dan Julien is a Canadian jazz singer, actor, and overall musical entertainer hailing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Dan’s musical training has exposed him to a variety of genres including: classical, folklore, pop, country, and his current passion for the legendary jazz singers from the 1950s onward.

In particular, world famous crooners like Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, et al, have influenced Dan to perform his colourful renditions of their celebrated songs.

Dan’s varied experience has also included performing songs from different countries and in several languages (French, Italian, Spanish and German), coupled with singing and acting in musical theatre productions.

Despite Dan’s admiration for the “crooners” and other singers, his performances reflect his unique, creative and original style. On stage, Dan demonstrates enthusiasm, passion, clear diction, a silky voice, and the invaluable ability to establish a rapport with his audience (young and older).

Most recently in 2019, Dan’s musical quest has landed him in Toronto, Canada. His immediate goal is to become an integral part of the vibrant and energizing Toronto jazz music scene.
