Dairy Barn Day Pass + Guided Tour

The EcoFarm Discovery Centre DAY PASS gives you access to explore our Dairy Barn and Discovery Zone. We invite you inside our barn to meet the cows face to face, push up their feed, see them interact with one another,  see the cow brush and robotic milker in action, spend time in our Discovery Zone with our hands-on displays designed by Science World, and watch the EcoDairy movie in our mini-theater. Guests adding the Behind the Scenes tour are welcome to explore the Dairy Barn before and/or after your scheduled guided tour.

Select your desired tour time for a walking-guided tour Behind the Scenes on the farm. Gain a better understanding of how we use technology to improve animal care and reduce our environmental footprint. Featuring the automated calf rail system, the Hydrogreen where we grow wheatgrass indoors daily for our farm animals, the anaerobic digestor system that converts poop to power and more! Plan to spend more time beyond the guided tour so you can explore the Dairy Barn. 

PLAN AHEAD: Please arrive and check-in at the front desk at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled tour start time. The Behind the Scenes tour is a walking tour and there may be periods you are exposed to the weather or walking on uneven gravel. This tour runs rain or shine so please arrive in appropriate clothing and footwear. Refunds are not offered due to weather. Prepare for this tour to take about 30 minutes once it begins. Guests must stay with their Tour Guide for the duration of the guided tour.

GROUP BOOKINGS: If you are visiting with a group larger than 15 individuals, your group may be eligible for our group rate pricing. Please submit a group booking form on our website at ecofarmbc.ca. Our Bookings Coordinator typically responds Wednesdays to Fridays.
