Description
"Trans is a Flower" celebrates gender diversity through music, poetry, visual art and drag. Based on the artwork of the same name- by Mike Hooves, this concert includes a tribute to the great trans masc jazz musician- Billy Tipton- and will include performances by Chantal Chagnon, Noble Oney, Comrade Yulia Borscht, Sarah Good Medicine AKA MEdz, Audrey Lane Cockett and guest speaker- Film Maker- Jericho Big Plume!

ACESSIBILITY:
This is an all ages event with sliding scale ticket pricing.
The Alcove Centre for the Arts is located by 3rd st station as well as 1st street station. There is street parking available surrounding the venue, and the venue is in the same building as a parkade.
Alcove's entrance is level with no steps. The entrance is comprised of two doors with large handles that can be pulled outwards. The venue has two gender neutral bathrooms that are not wide enough to be wheelchair accessible.
