Description

Pack your bags, you're going to Mexico!! Allow the wildly talented executive chef, Luis Valenzuela to take you on a unique culinary journey through Mexico. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico-born Luis Valenzuela had a passion for food at an early age. Currently Luis is the owner and Executive Chef from El Moro Latin Kitchen, head Chef at Mad Mexican and teaches as a culinary professor at George Brown College. Needless to say, you are in fantastic hands during this live culinary demonstration. 

Enjoy the delicious tastings highlighted on the menu below, as Chef Luis teaches guests how to execute the perfect Mexican dishes. 

 

On The Menu: 

   1. Salsas with Tostadas, diferentes tortillas

      -Three different salsa, Pumpkin Salsa, Chile de Arbol Salsa, Peanut Salsa, served with tostadas

    2. Tlacoyos de maiz azul con queso oaxaca, frijoles verdes, crema and requeson:

       - Stuffed blue corn tortilla with Oaxaca cheese, green bean puree, crema fresca and cheese.

   3. Mole Verde de chile poblano y calabasas:

        -Green mole with chile poblano and roasted zucchini and squash

    4. Cochinita Pibil con cebollas curtidas:

       -Slow roasted pork shoulder “Pib” style, served with fresh tortillas and pickled onions 

    5. Tamal de pina con atole de vanilla. 

        -Pineapple tamal with vanilla corn atole

 

Beverage: Tequila!!

Refund Policy: No refunds Exceptions: If an event is cancelled by the organizer at the direction of the government, a refund will be issued within 45 days of cancellation. 5% of ticket price will be withheld to help defray ticketing and credit card fees, which goes directly to a third party contact. COVID-19 Policy: Masks or face shields will be required by all guests while not seated. All guests must be double vaccinated. Vaccine passport & proof of identification will be required upon event check-in.
