Booksmart (Off the CUFF)

The Calgary Underground Film Festival presents an Off the CUFF screening of BOOKSMART, the SXSW sensation from director Olivia Wilde.

SYNOPSIS
BOOKSMART, Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut, has been receiving rave reviews (currently 100% RT) and amazing buzz since its world premiere at SXSW. The film stars Kaityln Dever and Beanie Feldstein as two high school students on the eve of their graduation. The film is told from a wildly original, fresh and modern perspective, BOOKSMART is an unfiltered comedy about high school best friends and the bonds we create that last a lifetime. Capturing the spirit of our times, the film is a coming of age story for a new generation.
