Crazy Eurasian

For the first time in Canada, internationally touring comedian Dinara Kerey brings her hit solo show Crazy Eurasian - a sharp, hilarious, and brutally honest take on identity, dating, and growing up post-Soviet, Asian and Muslim (WHAT?!).

Born in Kazakhstan and based in Berlin, Dinara has opened for top comedians across Europe, including Canada's own Russell Peters, David Cross, Maz Jobrani, Tina Friml and Mario Adrion. Her comedy blends cultural confusion, family pressure, and the chaos of being “too Eastern for the West and too Western for the East.”

Expect smart punchlines, wild stories, and unapologetic inappropriate humor from one of the boldest new voices in international comedy.

This show will be presented in the Salazar Stage (Main floor).

Accessibility

Please note that the venue has two separate spaces, upstairs and downstairs. All show listings should indicate which room they’re in on the description. Please ensure you note the location as both spaces do not have the same level of accessibility. 

The front entrance has power assisted doors. 

There’s a powered lift from street level to the main performance space. For more information on the limitations of our lift, please check out our website.

The venue has six private washrooms on the main floor, one of which is fully accessible with a power assisted door. The theatre doors to the main space are not power assisted at this time. The second floor is not accessible and is up two flights of stairs.
