COOPALOOZA 4 THE PEOPLE

 

This year's annual COOPALOOZA will take place Saturday August 16th at the Tropeau Acreage and feature performances from Katelyn Lehner, Matt Johner, and headliner Cooper Tropeau and the Broken Bones. The festival will be on rain or shine with doors opening at 6:30PM. The event takes place on an acreage 10 minutes south of Saskatoon and the exact location will be posted the morning of August 16th to all related social media accounts. COOPALOOZA will feature food, bus tickets that include general admission, and is a bring your own beverages event.

Where It All Began...

In 2022 before heading on a 4 month trip to Nashville, the country capital of the world, Cooper Tropeau and his band “The Broken Bones” organized one last show for the Summer, to be hosted at the Tropeau acreage just outside of Saskatoon. It was a last minute event and was announced only 2 weeks before taking place. The event, titled “Coopalooza”, was marketed as a bring your own booze concert and afterparty, a way to end of the concert season of 2022 on a high note! That night they were hoping to have 100 people in attendance, especially with rain on and off throughout the day. What happened that night was a surprise to the band and everyone involved in hosting. There were close to 400 people that showed up for the night of live music and great times with friends and family alike! The event turned out to be a huge success, so it only made sense to keep Coopalooza going in the years to come.

Coopalooza is meant to be a celebration of not only live music but also the atmosphere of Saskatchewan and friendships fostered throughout the years. It is a good old boot stomping’ acreage party where you can have fun, let loose, and make some memories for years to come. Coopalooza is a break from endless bar lines and $12 drinks. It’s about enjoying the simple things like good music, a cold beer, and the party of the summer with a great crowd!
