We have good news and bad news... Good news is our event is currently at capacity which means there are a lot of smart people gathering to discuss the challenges and opportunities for Canada's mental health sector.
The bad news is that since we're full, we can't complete your registration at this time. Please email events@convergementalhealth.org to be added to the waitlist.
Description
Innovation starts with an idea, but real insights come from the full journey—from concept to impact measurement. In Canada's rapidly evolving mental health sector, sharing successes and failures is vital to preventing duplication, fostering collaboration, and driving meaningful change.
Normalizing conversations around successes, opportunities, and setbacks creates a culture of continuous learning and adaptation. Every challenge overcome and lesson learned strengthens the foundation for a better, more accessible mental health system.
Two days of panel discussions, breakout sessions, and keynotes will bring together leaders, innovators, and advocates from across Canada with the common goal to share knowledge toward systemic innovation for our mental health sector.
The registration fee is pay-what-you-can. On the Ticket page, select Custom to enter the amount that works for you or your organization.
Keynote Speakers:
Samir Mourani is a digital creator, speaker (TED, Deloitte, York University), podcaster, and writer dedicated to driving systemic change in men’s mental health. As Host and Producer of Gent’s Talk, a top 5% globally ranked podcast. he challenges outdated narratives on masculinity and mental well-being. He is also the Editor of Gent’s Post, a premier men’s wellness publication. Featured on Cityline, Breakfast Television, and CBC, Samir’s advocacy goes beyond awareness, pushing for structural reform.
Baillie Aaron is a leading voice in systemic change, drawing parallels between the prison system and the entrepreneurial world to expose how both fail to support mental health. With two decades in prison reform, four TEDx talks, and experience exiting two ventures, she highlights the structural barriers that leave both incarcerated individuals and entrepreneurs without the support they need. A trained life coach and alumna of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers community, Baillie advocates for systemic reforms that foster resilience, well-being, and meaningful reintegration.
