About the Sessions
Sophia Longo will lead students through an exploration of watercolour to deepen understanding of composition, perspective, and colour theory.
Cost:
• $150 (4 weeks)
What to expect:
Skills you’ll develop:
• Reinforce fundamental techniques like wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry
• Explore advanced techniques like glazing
• Complete painting projects in a supportive, engaging atmosphere
Who Should Attend:
• Beginners who have taken at least one class before
• Intermediate students looking to strengthen foundational skills and build confidence
What to Bring:
Recommended brands and tools are listed; substitutions welcome.
• Pencil (F or HB)
• Knead eraser
• Paper clips or painter’s tape
• 100% cotton cold-pressed watercolour paper (Arches, Fabriano, Saunders, Winsor & Newton, BaoHong)
• Brushes: Round No.2 & No.6 (or No.4)
• Paints: Sepia, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Ultramarine Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Lemon Yellow, Cerulean Blue (optional), Cobalt Blue (optional)
• Optional: Hardboard or corrugated plastic backing

Refund Policy
