Description

Step into the fundamentals of mountain navigation with this hands-on introduction to map and compass skills. You’ll learn how to read topographic maps, orient yourself within the landscape, and navigate confidently when the trail fades or disappears.

Designed to be practical, accessible, and engaging, this session welcomes all experience levels.

No prior knowledge needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore beyond the obvious.

About the Venue:

The Lookout
A modern spot on Blackcomb Mountain, surrounded by forest and alpine views. Large windows open on clear days, blending indoor comfort with fresh mountain air. A rooftop deck and soft lighting create a quiet, reflective setting.
