Description
This year’s Comedy Kitchen is cooking up something hotter than ever and we’re not sure you can handle the heat!
The three hilarious comics are guaranteed to have you falling off your seat and giggling all the way home (…even if you live in Cheakamus)!
Outstanding talent, great company & delicious drinks, what more could you ask for?
Your ticket will include two drinks & more are available to purchase.
Opener: Amber Harper Young
In the midst of becoming a headlining club act Amber tours her absurd colorful style of self-deprecating (TMI) material, closing independent shows from coast to coast. Her hilarious and wildly audacious jokes are inspired by her unique and somewhat feral upbringing. She also shares her highly relatable stories on the trials and tribulations of navigating adulthood. But really... her sets can go anywhere! Amber's talent for experimental comedy, combined with her sharp improvisational skills, often have her mixing with the audiences before her, and creating jokes right on the spot, making every performance an original.
Middle: Alistair Ogden
One of Canada’s rising stand-up comedy stars, Alistair first came to prominence when he won CBC’s Next Up Competition in 2019. Since then, he’s taped a televised set at the Halifax Comedy Festival, appeared at Toronto SketchFest, Just For Laughs Vancouver, featured on a Just For Laughs Originals comedy album, and gained over 5 million views across Instagram and TikTok. He now produces and performs with Don't Tell Comedy in Toronto and can be seen at comedy clubs across the country.
Headliner: Paul Myrehaug
Canadian born and currently pastured in Europe, Paul Myrehaug is a multi-award winning stand-up comedian and mediocre actor.
Today, Paul is part of the “Snowed In Comedy Tour” that stretches coast to coast in 60 Canadian cities starting in Prince Rupert B.C. every January and ending in St. John’s Newfoundland in May.
He then spends the rest of the year based in Europe where he’s tour support act for the ever popular Ed Byrne on his UK hit shows “Spoiler Alert” and “If I’m Honest”.
"Paul carries the comedy off with a natural flair, in a manner so effortless one might think it was ingrained in his DNA"
