Scott Thompson from the ‘Kids in the Hall’ brings his most famous character, lounge lizard ‘Buddy Cole’, to Grindstone Comedy Festival for a 3 night run of his new show ‘KING’.
An evening of hilarious and sometimes incendiary monologues never before seen on television to a series of brand new monologues written for the recent revival that were deemed ‘ TOO HOT FOR AMAZON’, this is a show you can’t miss.

Buddy is back, funnier, sillier and yet somehow more dangerous than ever. Join him in an intimate setting as he mixes up martini’s and dishes out the dirt on his fabulous globe trotting life all while reflecting on everything from the fractured state of the LGBTQT+ community to controversial ways to cure cancer to the proper way to woo a despot.
Warning: If you like riotous boundary pushing comedy this is definitely the most fun you will have in the second week of July.

Andrew Packer

Andrew Packer is a Canadian stand up comedian known for his observational humor & quick-witted crowd work. You may recognize Andrew as the Lead Anchor/Creator of MAN NEWS (@andpacker), the most important news network known to man, that has gained over half a billion views worldwide.

Andrew has toured in over 15 countries and amassed over 3.3M followers across TikTok, Instagram and Youtube. He has performed at JFL Toronto, JFL Vancouver and the world famous Edinburgh International Fringe Festival. Andrew was a finalist in the 40th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition and winner of “Best Overall Performance” at the Cleveland Comedy Festival.

Amber Harper-Young

Amber Harper-Young is from southern Ontario but now makes her home in Vancouver. She’s been in Just For Laughs North West/Vancouver. You can hear her on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and or on her EP titled Drenched (available on all streaming platforms) Look for her television debut with the Canadian Comedy Hall of Fame. Alex Jocko

Alex isn't your average mom-comedian, though she does joke about her kid a lot. Catch Alex talking about her role as a wife and mother, and all the serious things in her life with endless optimism and enthusiasm.
Fun fact: Alex was named YEG's least likely comedian to slap someone, so you could say she's pretty threatening.
