Quarter Slots (feat. Amber Nash & Leslie Johnson)

Amber and Leslie take your favorite songs from the last few decades as inspiration for energetic scene work that draws from the humdrum and the hilarity of real life.

Amber Nash

Amber Nash is a long time ensemble member at Dad's Garage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. She has spent the last 20 years on stages all over Atlanta as well as performing and teaching throughout the US, Canada and Europe. She is best known for her role as the voice of Pam Poovey on the animated series Archer.

Leslie Johnson

Leslie is a Featured Performer at Dad's Garage Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Leslie loves performing for theatre, film and television and especially enjoys playing larger than life characters. An Atlanta native, Leslie has deep roots in improv, comedy and music. Her comedic influences include Gilda Radner, Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball, Melissa McCarthy and Maya Rudolph.

 

Donovan Workun

Donovan Workun is a 3 time World Improv Champion with over  30 years experience in his craft. In 1990, Donovan founded his acclaimed comedy duo Atomic Improv. Atomic has toured across North America, Asia and Mexico and are the first improv group to headline Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Atomic has been featured in several TV comedy specials and was selected to perform at the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games. Atomic Improv continues to perform, teach workshops and keynote for live shows and corporate events all across Canada. 

An accomplished actor, Donovan has been featured in dozens of  National commercials, TV shows, feature films, plays and musicals. Donovan was a leading voice for 7 seasons in the hit  CBC Radio One Series: The Irrelevant Show. Able to excel on any stage, Donovan has had the pleasure of performing live alongside his contemporaries Mike Myers, Wayne Brady, Colin  Mochrie, Dave Thomas, Joe Flaherty, and Kevin McDonald. He’s opened for Chelsea Handler, Paul Reiser, David Spade, Nikki  Glazer and Whitney Cummins. His extensive work in film has him sharing the screen with Patrick Swayze, Tom Green, Demi Moore and Tim Curry. Donovan is currently touring the political musical theatre sensation Jason Kenney's Hot Boy Summer, where he  plays the title character. This summer he is thrilled to be opening for Amy Schumer and Pete Davidson. A father of two wonderful children, Donovan calls Edmonton home and loves appreciating the city's history and exploring the beautiful parks and trails that Edmonton has to offer.

 

Chris Borger

Chris Borger has been “Rippin’ the ‘provs” for like a frickin decade now. He performs regularly with Atomic Improv, Rapid Fire Theatre, and the 11 o’Clock Number. As well, he has produced online comedy content for Oilersnation and the CBC.

His sketch comedy troupe, Marv n’ Berry, has toured North America’s comedy festival circuit, appearing recently at the Dallas Comedy Festival, the San Fransico Sketchfest, Seattle Sketchfest and Montreal Sketchfest. In August of 2022 he’ll be performing alongside Donovan Workun (Atomic Improv) as they open for Amy Schumer and Pete Davidson at the Great Outdoor Comedy Festival.
