Description
Kick off summer with us on Saturday, June 20, as we launch our outdoor comedy series under the Big Tent at Quayle’s Brewery—this time with a Father’s Day twist. It’s the perfect excuse to bring Dad (or your favourite dad figure), grab a pint, and settle in for a night of great laughs in the hop fields.
Feature - Greg Enwright
Greg Enwright Since first hitting the stage in 2015, Greg Enwright has appeared in comedy clubs, corporate events, and dive bars throughout the province. His high energetic, charismatic performances and his crowd work skills always makes him a crowd favorite wherever he goes.
Feature - Sammy Farid
Sammy Farid is an Egyptian-born comedian, actor, and father currently residing in Toronto, Canada. He has been performing stand-up comedy around the globe for nearly two decades, captivating audiences with his natural, introspective storytelling style. He has performed globally including London, Germany, and Spain within a 3-day span, charming audiences worldwide with his disarming humour.
Sammy has performed at the Big Sound Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Toronto, and can be heard on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud and seen on Netflix’s ‘The Office Movers’.
His debut album and special can be streamed on YouTube and heard on SiriusXM.
This past year, Sammy had the honor of opening for renowned comedian Shaun Majumder, further solidifying his place in the comedy scene.
Beyond comedy, Sammy is a self-taught chef who has competed on Food Network Canada’s Wall of Chefs. As an actor, he has trained with Tom Todoroff at the Tom Todoroff Conservatory in NYC and most recently appeared as ‘Misogynistic Egyptian Suitor’ on True Dating Stories.

Headliner Ali Hassan
Ali Hassan is a stand-up comedian, actor, and professional chef. He is the host of CBC’s Canada Reads as well as Laugh Out Loud. He is also a frequent guest host of q, CBC’s premier national arts and entertainment show. His comedy has been performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and Toronto’s JFL42. He is a Canadian Comedy Awards nominee, and his solo show, Muslim, Interrupted, was performed at the world’s largest comedy festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has appeared in three award-winning films, Breakaway, French Immersion, and as the memorable Lebanese Uncle Stevie in the hockey hit Goon, in addition to other film and TV roles, most recently CBC’s Run the Burbs.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, show starts at 7:30 PM. Dress cozy, come early, and make an evening of it. Tickets will go fast for this one, so don’t wait—secure your spot and be part of the fun.
