Mike Greenwood

Meet Mike Greenwood, the high-energy, self-deprecating storyteller you won't want to miss live. Known for his storytelling, Mike has recently toured theatres with crowds up to 600 across the country as the host and opening performer for the Simon King, Wes Barker: Comedy + Magic tour. Furthermore in 2024 he was recently featured at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival at The Park Theatre with the tour, and personally earned acclaimed as a Georgia Straight Spring Critics Pick for his standout work with Big Laughs Comedy and can be found on the rest of year touring the country! You might have already enjoyed one of Mike's hilarious family anecdotes on SiriusXM or Spotify, as he was featured on the 'Great Canadian Comedy Rumble' compilation album by the notorious 604 Records.

 

Based in Vancouver for over 10 years, with a stint in between in Toronto after being accepted to Second City full time, Mike has worked professionally with Yuks Yuks Comedy Club Chain for the better part of a decade after being selected for their 'Fast Track' program. As a long-time resident of YVR, Mike has been a part of numerous incarnations of Just For Laughs Vancouver where he worked alongside Dana Gould, Beth Sterling to name a few, as well as earning a couple of Just For Laughs Comedy Award nominations along the way.

 

Beyond the stage, Mike hosts Comedy Theme Show “It’s Almost Friday” and the popular limited series movie podcast 'We Love Val,' featuring notable guests like Mark Normand, Joe DeRosa, Matt McCarthy, and Pat Walsh and earning praise from Val Kilmer’s childhood friend and producer. Furthermore, Mike also served as on-air producer for 'What's Wrong With Simon King’ Podcast and both series are still available on all major podcast platforms and on Patreon.

 

Charbel Nicolas

Charbel Nicolas is a Lebanese Canadian comedian who was raised in Calgary, Alberta. He started performing stand-up comedy in 2021, right here in Calgary! In his first year, he was a finalist in two local stand-up competitions, and he is still performing across our province with ambitions to spread laughs across our country!
