Comedy for a Cause for Make a Wish presented by Players Choice Sports

Players Choice Sports presents Comedy for a Cause, a stand-up comedy showcase in support of Make-A-Wish, happening Friday at 6:30 PM at Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge. The evening is headlined by Michael Saddi, the Filipino-Indian comedy star known as the “Angry Brown Guy with a Heart of Gold,” whose sharp, honest material takes on marriage, money, and immigrant life. He’s joined by a special performance from Dakoda’s favourite Jason Wobshall, a master of self-deprecating storytelling who can turn any moment into a big laugh, with hosting duties handled by Max Stevenson, a fast-rising comic whose smart observations and punchy delivery have quickly made him a crowd favourite. One hundred percent of ticket sales go directly to Make-A-Wish, helping bring hope and joy to children living with critical illness, and special thanks to Players Choice Sports for presenting the show and supporting both great comedy and a great cause.
