Comedy for a Cause for Kelowna Minor Lacrosse presented by Bellamy Homes

Get ready for a night of laughter that gives back as Bellamy Homes presents Comedy for a Cause in support of Kelowna Minor Lacrosse. This special event brings the community together for an unforgettable evening of stand up comedy, with 100% of ticket sales going directly toward supporting local athletes and programs thanks to the generous support of Bellamy Homes.

Headlining the show is fan favourite Marlene Swidzinski, known for her dry, deadpan delivery, offbeat wit, and sharp humour inspired by her Saskatchewan perogy belt roots. A past winner of the BC’s Funniest New Female Comic contest, Marlene has appeared at the Just for Laughs Vancouver festival and is featured on a Just for Laughs Originals comedy album. She is also preparing to tape her debut comedy special with Comedy Here Often? this May at 604 Studios in Vancouver. Her unique voice and perfectly understated style have made her a standout on stages across the country.

The night will also feature several of Kelowna Comedy’s top comics, delivering a high energy lineup packed with big laughs and local talent.

Kelowna Minor Lacrosse plays an important role in the community by helping young athletes develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport.
