Comedy for a Cause for CNIWT Family Camp presented by Whitetail Concrete Inc.

Get ready for a powerful night of laughter in support of an incredible cause as Comedy for a Cause for CNIWT Camp, presented by Whitetail Concrete, comes to Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge.

This special fundraiser supports CNIWT Camp, which brings together families of Deaf, deafblind, and Hard of Hearing children from across the BC Interior for a barrier-free, inclusive camp experience. The camp includes ASL interpreters, Deaf and Hard of Hearing leaders and role models, resource professionals, and parent workshops focused on supporting their children.

The night will feature a stacked lineup of Kelowna Comedy’s top performers, with a special performance by Joey Commisso.

Joey is one of Western Canada’s fastest-rising stand-up comics. His debut album and special Nachosferatu (2025) was filmed to sold-out crowds and released through Comedy Here Often?. He has performed multiple times at Just For Laughs Vancouver and was selected for NBC’s prestigious StandUp NBC showcase. A Vancouver Comedy Award nominee, Joey tours relentlessly across Canada, the United States, and Europe with high-energy material about fatherhood and his “Fake Italian” life. His viral clips and packed club shows have made him a fan favorite wherever he performs.
