The Beaumont Studios and Snowed In Comedy Tours present COMEDY IN THE COURTYARD

Summer is almost here, and that means a return to outdoor Comedy Nights at the Beaumont Studios.  Every Friday night, we will round up some of the freshest Canadian comics and turn our courtyard into an outdoor comedy club. 

Each night has two set times - 7pm and 9:15.

HEADLINING: JANE STANTON

Jane Stanton has become one of the country’s top headliners. She has been featured in numerous festivals including the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs, JFL 42, JFL Northwest, Bumpershoot Festival, Seattle’s International Comedy Competition & more.

After her debut album “Date Night” reached number 1# on iTunes, Jane launched her podcast “High School Sucked” that she co-hosts with comedian Darcy Michael. Regularly charting in the top 100 comedy podcasts in over 30 countries, Buzzfeed said “if you’re not listening to High School Sucked, you’re missing out!”

Between touring her headline act and appearances on such hit shows like CBC’s The Debaters, CBC LOL, Jane has appeared alongside the likes of Tig Notaro, Fortune Feimster, Arie Spears, Bobby Lee, Natasha Leggero and SNL’s Michael Che.

Also an accomplished actor, Jane most recently worked on Disney’s The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Gus Van Sants’ mini-series “When We Rise” as well as A&E’s “The Returned”, Amazon Primes "The Twilight Zone" and CBC’s “Artic Air”.

When she’s not touring, Jane Stanton resides in Vancouver, BC with her husband* Hoffman.

RYAN WILLIAMS

Former unimpressive Canadian colligate athlete turned comedian, Ryan Williams is one of Western Canada’s most exciting new comics. His high energy performances coupled with surprisingly witty material make him a performer not to be missed. Ryan has appeared at JFL Northwest, Zoofest, and was featured on “The best of Vancouver” showcase for the Northwest Comedy fest.

Recently Ryan has started the fantastic new podcast "Steel Toes Required" with fellow Vancouver Comedians James Kennedy and Stefan McNeil. The podcast is receiving a growing amount of critical acclaim for its insight into the inner workings of world of construction as well as hilarious anecdotes throughout and was recently featured on the AV club's podmass of top podcast episodes that week. Well worth a listen to....
