Description

Live Acts Canada + The Live Agency present:

Clay Ravens & Buffalo Jones with special guests Cassidy Waring and Hollow Groves

CLAY RAVENS (Vancouver) // http://www.clayravens.com/

Founded upon the guttural, honey-smoked harmonies of their vocal blend; Clay Ravens began as a singer-songwriter project between two siblings: Justin and Brianne Huntley Smith.

Their songs lent themselves to a more complex sound, so the band needed growth. With each new contributor came an unexpected twist to the original vision.

Incorporating Kelsey Butkus’s technical bass skills, Brendan Tydall’s shredding twang electric guitar style, Matt Cook-Contois’s legendary fiddle chops and Tim Lanham's third line shuffle, the band has formed an extremely unique indie folk sound that has audiences on the tip of their toes and screaming for more.

BUFFALO JONES (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/BuffaloJones67/

The thunder of the ravenous beast within us all is what inspires this desire to convey raw, sincere, and passionate cries to the listener.

CASSIDY WARING (Vancouver) // https://www.presskit.to/cassidywaring

Cassidy Waring makes modern traditional folk music that will break your heart while sewing it back together. She sings dusty lullabies directly from her relentless. Her debut album is mostly autobiographical and could very well be the soundtrack to heartache. She learned how to use songwriting as a tool to deal with the challenges around her at a ripe age. This is certainly apparent in her music. Her songs feel lived in, extraordinarily lived in like a cabin in the woods with dripping candles and the smell of old books. She has spun her struggle into songs that invite listeners deep inside.

HALLOW GROVES (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/hollowgroves/

Outlaw Grunge... Hauntingly beautiful.
