Calgary Zoo and BBQ with the Circle Committee

Bring your team members, friends and family of all ages on a wild day out with the Circle Committee at the Calgary Zoo!

We’ll be hosting a barbecue lunch in the zoo’s Safari Lodge, included with your ticket (valued at $75+ per person), along with a private space to relax and connect throughout the event.

The zoo is open from 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for you to explore, while the Circle Committee has rented the Safari Lodge from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., as a dedicated space to connect, play some games, and enter to win some giveaways.

The included BBQ lunch will have seating at two separate times: 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

While you can indicate your preferred time, seating will be assigned after ticket sales close, with priority given based on purchase order. To help accommodate everyone, guests are encouraged to enjoy their meal within their seating window so others can be seated.

The BBQ lunch includes:

• Burgers and hotdogs (with all the fixings)
• Grilled vegetables
• Fresh watermelon
• Summer slaw & potato salad
• Iced tea, coffee, and assorted teas

If you have any dietary concerns, please include them at checkout and we will follow up with available options prior to the event. 

Ticket Details

• Circle Committee members and guests: $22 per ticket
• Non-members and guests: $50 per ticket
• Each ticket includes zoo admission + barbecue lunch

Tickets include both zoo admission and lunch as a package. If you already have zoo access (like a membership), you're still welcome to join us—just note that lunch is only included with an event ticket.

Just a quick reminder: the zoo is a no-smoking, no-alcohol and no-drugs facility, so come ready to enjoy a fun, safe day.

How to book your tickets

• Purchase your admission tickets on Showpass (you’ll need your guest count and any dietary notes at checkout)
• Add the scavenger hunt (optional)
• Plan your day—pack your essentials (water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, umbrella, etc.)
• Invite your team members and make a day of it
