Kris & Wayne are a critically-acclaimed improv comedy duo from Toronto, ON, featuring Kris Siddiqi (Netflix' I Woke Up A Vampire, Molly's Game) and Wayne Jones (Canadian Comedy Award-nominee). Their festival credits include the Winnipeg Fringe Festival and the Edmonton Fringe Festival. Kris has won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Improviser, while Wayne was nominated for Best Live Production for his show "Colin Mochrie & Wayne Jones". They can be seen performing together monthly, in The White Rhino, one of Toronto's longest running and most popular improv comedy shows.
REVIEWS:
Toronto duo Kris Siddiqi and Wayne Jones are full of energy and have the ideas to go along with it. The twosome takes one idea from the audience and runs with it for a full 40 minutes, veering into odd places both physically and verbally.
On Friday, Kris & Wayne visited a bathhouse together, where they riffed on their troubled relationships, Purple Rain, how bad men are and their deepest feelings.
They were naked, so no hugging, though Jones is fearless when it comes to physical comedy, and some of the most amusing moments involved his contorted movements. They finally got out of the bathhouse for a bit of a homage to the movie Say Anything in order to win Jones’s wife back, but with Phil Collins as the soundtrack instead of Peter Gabriel, who she likes better. He never did listen to her.

With not a bump or awkward pause to be found, Kris Siddiqi and Wayne Jones interact while adding humour, suspense and impressive miming. This is a zero-prop show - unless well timed sound effects and musical numbers count. They managed to paint a very in-depth scenario where a cop or two get busted - "Legalize It" seemed to be their message this round.
The story flowed perfectly and made a whole heck of a lot of sense, you might even think it was pre-written.
