The world release of "She’s My Guitar", Chris Birkett’s 5th solo album, is coming to Hugh’s Room. The title track came to Chris when asked to write and record an original song for the Acoustic Guitar Project, a global music platform that inspires musicians to write one song, on one guitar, within one week.

Chris added electric guitar and bass, drums and piano to the acoustic version and with it, a concept album was born for songs he'd written originally on acoustic guitar, including several from his Kauai hotel room after working with Buffy Sainte-Marie during the day on "Medicine Songs". Chris performs at Hugh’s Room on Saturday August 17.
