_____________

Growing up in small town Saskatchewan, Ches Anthony had a strong passion for a two things, Music and Motocross. He says, while racing Motocross was awesome, his drive for music was in his blood and heart, "As far back as I can remember us singing four-part harmony in the car on our family trips. When Ches was 8 yrs old he got a taste of the festival life and stage when his dad took him on tour with his blues band that year and he would bring he and his brother up on stage to play guitar and harmonica while playing on Country Gospel Music Festivals across Canada. One of his favorite memories was when he got to stay up all night to jam with all Nashville session players. Ches says, "the power had gone out because of a thunderstorm and they all gathered in the indoor facility and played whatever they could get their hands on, there were musicians making a beat with pots and pans and playing their guitars and banjos and harmonicas and fiddles, the air was filled with amazing sounds from these super talented musicians and I remember just how amazing it was to be a part of that"

Ches began song writing in his early teens which is when he decided to start a Rock band with his older brother Colton, the band was called Hedged and they released their first album called "Serving Time" with Producer Ryan Andersen. The album was well received by several college radio stations across the country where they received regular radio play as well as shared the stage with several well-known Canadian rock bands, play on the Warped Tour, and Taste of Chaos.

Along the years of playing in Hedged and working as a session player he put out a cover on YouTube of him singing, Chris Stapleton's Tennessee Whiskey. A few weeks later Cold Creek County called him to join the band, he took them up on the offer and moved to Ontario to pursue his dream playing music. Ches had the opportunity to play festivals like Boots & Hearts, Country Thunder, Stars and Thunder, Country Wild, K-Days, Calgary Stampede and tour across the country with Old Dominion, The Washboard Union, Luke Bryan, Kieth Urban and many more!

Lately, Ches has continued to follow his passion of songwriting and has been busy doing co-writes in Nashville as well as back home with several Canadian artists. He's currently working on his first solo album that he says will be filled with heartfelt raw vocals incorporating all of his influences he had growing up from Johnny Cash, the Blackwood Brothers, Hank Williams, Howlin Wolf, and more recently Chris Stapleton.
