A classically-trained piano maestro and pop-folk-indie songwriter, Jeffery Straker swears he was born “under the piano” on his family’s farm in Punnichy, SK. With eight full-length albums to his credit and counting, Jeffery has a devoted international fan base, playing 100+ shows a year to audiences from Europe to Ghana to Chile, not to mention his COVID-busting backyard house concerts in 2020 and youth workshops in Resolute Bay, Canada’s remotest northern community. Not one to underachieve, he has also played sold-out orchestral concerts and is beloved in Saskatchewan as a presenter of the CTV Telemiracle telethon, helping raise millions of dollars annually for Kin Canada.
