Description
Removing Barriers and Discussing Opportunities for Graduate Students with Disabilities and Ongoing Medical Conditions
Join the Centre for Accessibility’s graduate-focused team for an informative session designed to support graduate students with disabilities. We’ll provide an overview of the Centre’s role and guide you through the accommodation process—from registration to making recommendations to Graduate Studies, your program, and faculty.
Given the complexities of graduate studies—including supervisor relationships, disclosure and privacy, funding concerns, and timelines—connecting with us early in your program can be incredibly beneficial. We'll also discuss how we can support you across all stages of your academic journey, whether you're managing coursework, research, practicum placements, comprehensive exams, fieldwork, thesis writing, or your final oral exam.
Date: September 9, 2025
Time: 12:00pm, PDT
Location: Brock Commons, Room 2102 (2nd floor)
