This grant-funded series at Knox United Church is designed to bridge the gap between amateur passion and professional execution. Whether you are a member of the Fake Mustache cast or a member of the broader community looking to step onto the stage for the first time, these sessions provide a safe, supportive environment to elevate your craft.

Centre Stage Skills

This workshop serves as the foundation for any performer looking to move beyond a simple lip sync and create a memorable moment on stage. It focuses on the intentionality behind the performance, merging technical stagecraft with creative storytelling to command the room from the first beat to the final bow. We will dive into the art of song mapping to build engaging narrative arcs and pull back the curtain on professional etiquette. We will cover everything from dressing room rules to working seamlessly with stagehands to ensure you are invited back to venues.

Registration: A $5 deposit is required to secure your spot and will be fully refunded upon attendance. This session is strictly capped at 25 participants to ensure personalized instruction.
