Celtic Celebration

Join us for an evening  of Celtic Music played by some of the best in the region. There will be a concert from 8pm to 10pm, with a jam to follow, so bring your instruments and get in on the fun.

This month's Celtic Celebration features The Castle Trio:

The Castle Trio is one of Ottawa’s leading Irish traditional music groups, performing tunes drawn from manuscripts, field recordings, and their own travels abroad.

Flutist and piper Justin Thériault is a key presence in Ottawa’s Irish music community and leads the Ottawa Céilí Band. Fiddler Niamh Bloomer, from County Down, Northern Ireland, grew up immersed in Irish music and is an All-Ireland Fleadh champion and graduate of the University of Glasgow. Harpist Susan Toman, who studied with Gráinne Hambly in County Mayo, holds a Doctorate in Music from McGill University and brings deep roots in both Irish and classical traditions.
