CCL is a is a DJ, organizer, visual artist and producer that specializes in the liquefaction of rhythmic and melodic matter - combustive phase transitions through cowgirl-breaks, trip-funk, wiggle steppers, drum and face.

They have an affinity for fluidity and liminality, weaving music together through distinct narratives that open rhythmic wormholes and the space between all genres and tempos. Harmonizing and connecting disparate sound into bold and enticing ecosystems is constantly present in their DJ sets–blooming and molting through a plethora of infectious steppers, broken techno, dusty neon 80s synths, glittering footwork, psychedelic post-punk guitars, bubbling drum and bass, twisted dub, supple ambience, and all that lies beyond and between.

They've garnered accolades for their adventurous musical vision and knack for tension, storytelling and release - their sets have been written up in Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, FACT, Mixmag, Crack Magazine, The Guardian, Groove Magazine and more. Their eclectic production with fellow Seattle Flora FM was proclaimed as one of the best tracks of 2019 on Resident Advisor and they have been seen performing their unique musical vision at the likes of Berghain/Panorama Bar, Unsound, Rural Japan, Honcho Campout, Movement Detroit, Rewire and their mix ‘Ode to the Queer Steppas” was named as one of the best mixes of the decade.

Extending beyond their personal output, CCL is a key producer for New Forms Festival in Vancouver, Decibel, and Corridor in Seattle - all North American festivals sharing a common thread of uplifting sound and visual artists through forward momentum and community. All sounds and energy matter that manifest from CCL are there to highlight the connectivity of all beings, whether it's through making our bodies sweat, our minds expand, or our hearts feel deeply.
