Road to the JUNOS

The Juno Awards are returning to Halifax in March 2024, and to kick off Juno season CBC Music presents Road to the Junos, a five-night concert series featuring some of the best talent from the Maritimes.

Adam Baldwin

Singer-songwriter Adam Baldwin has been a mainstay of the Atlantic Canada music scene for over a decade. Starting as a member of rock combo Gloryhound before joining Matt Mays & El Torpedo in 2009, Baldwin’s own music has continued to evolve since his award winning self-titled solo debut EP in 2013, so far culminating in his 2022 release, Concertost & Serenades.

Reeny

Singer, songwriter and producer Reeny Smith trades in a sophisticated blend of groove-heavy R&B and heart-wrenching soul, deeply influenced by both her Baptist church choir roots and the ’90s girl groups she grew up listening to on the radio. But when you strip everything else away, the very heart of her singular (and award-winning) brand of pop music is the relationship between her and the piano, a connection Smith has nurtured since she was just five years old, spurred on by a profoundly musical family.
