The Juno Awards are returning to Halifax in March 2024, and to kick off Juno season CBC Music presents Road to the Junos, a five-night concert series featuring some of the best talent from the Maritimes.
Prince Edward Island-born and Halifax-based singer-songwriter Jenn Grant’s music is deeply empathetic and generous of heart, and her latest release gathered a community of musicians across the country — including Amy Millan, Dan Mangan and Ria Mae — to write with her. She has been nominated for three Juno Awards, many East Coast and Music Nova Scotia awards and has been longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize.
Juno Award-winning and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Rose Cousins was born and raised in P.E.I., but has called Halifax home for many years. Her much-revered live performances invite us on a journey of embracing sadness and longing, counterbalanced by her dry wit and insightful observations.
