Road to the JUNOS

The Juno Awards are returning to Halifax in March 2024, and to kick off Juno season CBC Music presents Road to the Junos, a five-night concert series featuring some of the best talent from the Maritimes.

Gary Beals

Rising from a small-town upbringing in Cherry Brook, N.S., to become a finalist on Canada's first season of the Idol TV series, Gary Beals has transformed over two decades into a refined, driven artist with three successful albums under his belt. He draws inspiration from legends including Aretha Franklin and Al Green, and embodies the essence of soul music — and has been recognized at the Junos and the African Nova Scotia Music Awards for it.

Zamani

Zamani Folade is a storyteller who writes, produces, engineers and performs the music she makes. Her unique brand of alternative R&B, neo-soul, urban jazz and pop explore themes of self-love, optimism, identity and Black girl magic!
