Seven Teachings in Song

After beginning our season at a Get-In-The-Groove workshop week rooted in developing our understanding of the seven teachings, join CANTARE, CANTIGA, and CANTILENA for their first concert of the season which will explore the intersection of music-making and the development of values, morals, and character in young people.

Our concert will revolve around the music of autumn: The enchanting melodies and haunting harmonies will transport our audience to a world of falling leaves, crisp breezes, and the magic of this bewitching season. Cantilena, our youngest group, will bring a fresh new energy to the stage in their first performance, while Cantiga will captivate with their youthful energy and growing skills showcasing many true Cantiga favourites. Lastly, Cantare, our junior/senior highshool ensemble, will wow us with their progress after a THRILLING fall together, commanding numerous Baroque works as well as an uplifting contemporary reflection as they prepare for another 11 Days of Remembrance at the Field of Crosses. Join us on Saturday, October 25th and immerse yourself in the enchantment of the season!

LOCATION: McDougall United Church

PARKING: There is free parking available in the parking lot or on the street surrounding McDougall.

We ask that all patrons be seated by 7:20 PM.  Latecomers cannot be seated until after the first set.

Tickets will be sold at the door as quantities last. There is a No Refund Policy.
