The Alberta Mycological Society is hosting a membership and donation drive at The Artist Lounge. Join us for our inaugural Calgary Spore Social! The event will begin with a 20 minute presentation on the culinary, and cultural significant of fungi. Will we have an assortment of mushroom based dishes, a mushroom-based cocktail. There will also be mushroom art on display from Helene M.E. Schalkwijk-Barendsen, founder of the Alberta Mycological Society. We will also have a display of laboratory glass used to make tinctures.
