Butter Making 101

Making butter is easier than you might think, and it’s more economical too! All you need is cream and a bit of patience—and honestly, you don’t even really need the patience.

Milk solids and whey can be used together or separately. Separate them, and you get butter and buttermilk. Butter can also be turned into ghee, which is great for cooking because it’s healthier than some oils, adds the richness of butter, and has a high smoke point. And all you need to make ghee is butter.

We’ll show you how to turn regular cream into delicious butter and fresh buttermilk. Once you’ve mastered that, we’ll guide you through adding flavors to your butter and wrapping it for storage. Everyone will head home with freshly made butter to enjoy with the family.

All materials will be supplied.  So all you need to bring is your creative mind.  We’ll have plenty of nibblies and snacks, along with a selection of curated cocktails and local beers to enjoy. Snack boards can be purchased with your tickets, and drinks cocktails will be available all night.
