Description

Directed by Jamie Babbit | 85 min | 1999 | USA
Megan is an all-American girl. She's a cheerleader and has a boyfriend, but she doesn't like kissing him very much, and she only has pictures of girls up in her locker. Her parents and friends conclude that she *must* be gay and send her off to "sexual redirection" school, full of admittedly homosexual misfits, where she can learn to be straight. Will Megan be turned around to successful heterosexuality, or will she succumb to her love for the beautiful Graham?
Led by the inimitable Natasha Lyonne and a wonderfully eclectic cast that includes Clea DuVall, Michelle Williams, Bud Cort, Mink Stole, and RuPaul, But I'm a Cheerleader is a bonafide queer classic, and this is your chance to celebrate Mother's Day by seeing this beloved comedy on the big screen.
