The Belles of the Underground Present:
Burlesque & Varieteaze Show

Lola O'Dare and Madame Foreteaze (formerly Hard Kandy) began performing back in 2013 with “The Prince George Burlesque” (formerly “Prince George Follies”) alongside Betty Krueger and Sweet Jane. The small group of four sadly could no longer continue due to other professional aspirations.

Over Covid, Madame Foreteaze and Lola O'Dare began talking about the ‘good ol’ days’ and began making plans to put together another show. This passion they both shared became what “The Belles of the Underground Burlesque and Variety!” 

These free spirited gals encourage their performers to strip the fears of judgment and exclusion from society in the most respectful way possible.  They work to push those boundaries and believe that expressive art is subjective and should therefore, not be censored. They work to deliver reflection and a sense of light heartedness in an attempt to bring a performance that encourages their audience to take things a little less seriously.

This is why they proudly display an advisory statement with their ticket purchases, “WARNING: Content May Be Controversial and Offensive to Some Viewers.”

As of now Madame Foreteaze has pursued her dream and is now the proud owner of The Underground Show Lounge and Bar in Prince George. Having gotten past the ups and downs of completing her 1st year in business she has had many new performers and experienced performers of all kinds on her stage.  Rappers, cover bands, metal bands, comedy, burlesque and has even hosted Prince George Pride Drag Show 2 years in a row.

She is pleased to now bring her Varietease Show on the road again, this time to Fort St John

The Mingle Section

If so, you can purchase general admission tickets and note "mingle section" in the area that asks if you are joining an existing reservation. When you note this, you will be seated in the "Mingle" section!
