Building Hope for Kids 'A Night in New Orleans' Gala

Baywest Homes and Calgary Marriott Downtown are proud to present the seventh and final edition of the Building Hope for Kids Gala: A Night in New Orleans!. This annual event welcomes over 500 building and development industry professionals each year who share a desire to support the Alberta Children’s Hospital, while experiencing some of the world’s most exciting locales.

Together we have travelled to New York, Paris, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Italy and Mexico. This year, we invite guests to experience New Orleans, a city as famous for its food and music as for its unique traditions. With live jazz music, auctions, prizing, surprise entertainment, and themed food and drink, this ‘Night in New Orleans’ is not to be missed. Costumes, beads and feathers are encouraged!

The Cause
To date, Building Hope for Kids has raised over $1.4 Million in net proceeds for state-of-the-art equipment, innovative research and family-centered care programs at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. This year, we were inducted into the ‘Thanks a Million’ club at the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, an amazing achievement in just six years!

This year’s event will once again support Mental Health initiatives at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Nearly 1 in 5 children has a diagnosable psychiatric concern - making mental health issues the single largest health problem facing young people in our country today. The funds raised at this event will make a real difference for children and families in our community, thanks to the generous support of people like you.
