Description
Sybil is a quiet, creative soul, with a love of taxidermy and poetry. When she unexpectedly falls in love, her world is turned upside down, and she faces a new tragic challenge, the only way she knows how: quiet, creative destruction.
A professional undertaker at a funeral parlour, Sybil Chamberlain's job is lonely, with few perks. So she takes solace where she can. Far from her privileged, carefree childhood, Sybil's life was drastically changed when she lost everything. A darkness within her has taken over, and as her loneliness grows stronger, her desires are harder to control – especially as her main work companions are already dead. When a fetching man enters her life, and she falls in love, things really go sideways. A devilishly perverse good time, the debut feature from actor turned director Joanne Mitchell is based on her 2018 award-winning short SYBIL.
