Blues Hoodoo (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/Blues-Hoodoo-354713118015310/

Drawing heavily from ’70s instrumental jazz/funk fusion, Vancouver-based Blues Hoodoo is a festival favourite, continuing to wow audiences with their infectious and multi-dimensional grooves.

Rowen Porter (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/rowenportermusic/

Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist Rowen Porter has one of those voices that get right to the heart. Her poetic and honest lyrics tell a story and her melodies get stuck in your head. Lush guitars, powerful drums and a slice of electro keys underpin her pop/soul sound.

In February 2018 she released her debut, 'Everything At Once EP' to a packed crowd at The Heatley. It reached number 8 on CiTR's Earshot radio report. The record was a local effort featuring all Vancouver musicians and was produced, engineered and mixed by Cody Taylor of Fiend Recordings. The EP features a mix of uplifting and rocking pop tunes with soaring vocals to anguished piano ballads with delicate breathy tones.

You can hear influences in Rowen Porter's music from Sam Roberts, k.d Lang and Sheryl Crow.

Rowen Porter has lived in Vancouver since 2015.

Fasbender (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/fasbenderband/

Many years ago, In the not so distant dystopian disco future, four apostles of the all mighty funkdom descended upon the mortal realm to deliver the divine gift of groove to the masses.

Charlie PS (Vancouver) //https://www.facebook.com/CharliePSMusic/

Charlie PS considers herself to be a ‘Heinz 57’. Although she grew up surrounded by the 90’s British pop culture, her inspirations come from the R&B divas of the 70’s and 80’s and the rock and blues legends of the 20th century. Upon winning the title of 'Kootenays Best Singer' in 2013 Charlie made her way through the venues and festivals that her small hometown of Nelson BC had to offer and after graduating from Selkirk College's 'Contemporary Music Program' in 2014 she relocated to Vancouver BC.

Released in the spring of 2018 her 3 time nominated debut EP 'Little Miss Dysfunctional' speaks an undisclosed story of disingenuous relationships that are interpreted differently by each listener and her effervescent style resurrects the dying niche that is females in rock music.

2019 promises a bright start for Charlie, after winning ‘Best Pop Song’ at the Kootenay Music Awards, placing in the Top 100 for the ‘CBC Searchlight Contest’ and headlining the Railway Club’s semi annual ‘Monarch Series’ Charlie is currently continuing to promote 'Little Miss Dysfunctional' and working on recording 2 new singles. She is also in the midst of booking a mini tour for the summer with dates already booked in Penticton and Kelowna, and plays monthly at local lounges and breweries with her acoustic duo as well as local venues with her original band.

D Fretter (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/dfrettersongs/

D Fretter began writing songs at the age of 17 when he borrowed his sister's acoustic guitar (without asking).

Drawing from a wide variety of influences, ranging from Hip-Hop to Folk and Indie-Rock. He combines catchy melodies with heartfelt lyrics to tell a story. His sings CAMPFIRES & CIGARETTES and GHOSTS are currently available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify and more.
