The Town of Wasaga Beach has announced the highly anticipated headliners for its Breaking the Ice: A Celebration of Legends, Icons and 50 Years of Sunshine festival.

Winners of multiple Juno Awards and Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame inductees, Blue Rodeo and Burton Cummings, will lead the show-stopping line-up of iconic Canadian performers that have signed on to the festival, which will kick-off the Town of Wasaga Beach‘s 50th anniversary celebrations and mark the grand opening of the Town’s new twin-pad arena and library.

The legendary musicians will perform at the new Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach Public Library and join a host of other iconic Canadians who will deliver thrilling, family-friendly performances between February 10th and February 19th, 2024.

Blue Rodeo is set to take the main stage on February 18, 2024, with special guest Belle Star.

 

Important Event Information:

Doors Open: 5:30pm

Opening Act: 7:00pm

Blue Rodeo: 8:30pm

General Information:

• Ticketing Entrances for the concert at both sides of the Arena.
• No in/out privileges. Once your ticket has been scanned, you must remain in the venue.
• No backpacks/handbags exceeding 4.5" x 6.5" in size. ** Bags that are over this size will be subject to a security check.
• No outside food or drink including water bottles.
• No smoking/vaping.

Bar and Concession:

All concert bars hosted by Side Launch Brewing Company. Debit/Credit only.

Concession area open during concert for snacks and refreshments.

Concert Parking and Shuttle Service

The Town has designated concert parking at the beachfront. A shuttle service will be providing guests access from the beachfront parking lot to the venue at scheduled times before and after the show.  Please see the list below of parking areas and Shuttle Times

Accessibility:

Guests requiring accessible accommodations can use either of the two Arena entrances. A staff member will be available to assist those that require it to their seats.

VIP Ticket Holders

VIP Express Check-in is available for VIP ticket holders only. VIP tickets encompass seating sections 14a, 15a, and 16a.  

VIP Ticket Holders will have access to the following:

• VIP Only On-Floor Bar Service 
• VIP Only bathrooms
