<p>BJU Press is excited to host a behind-the-scenes look at our digital press fleet. Come see how digital transformation is shaping the future of BJU Press. Plan to ride the bus over from Rodeheaver Lobby—parking next to the Printing Division is reserved for employees. Because this is a manufacturing facility, please wear closed-toe shoes.</p>

<p>Take a walk down memory lane and learn things about BJU you probably didn't know! This tour will start in the Mack Lobby.</p>

<p>Fear of the KGB pervades society. Christian faith is stifled wherever it is discovered. However, some believers opt to worship God openly and accept the consequences. A brave few dare to print Bibles—right under the noses of the KGB. This story is about them. </p>

<p>All BJU community members are encouraged to attend this premier event where Dr. Josh Crockett–the new president of BJU–will share the current outlook and direction for Bob Jones University.</p>

<h3><strong>BJU Press Art Exhibition Reception (Sargent Art Building, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)</strong></h3>
<p>Since 1974, BJU Press textbooks have been a part of the journey for millions of learners and educators worldwide. The art featured in many of these books has helped students solidify and remember concepts, transported them to far off lands, and brought history and science to life beyond the text. <em>Create, Communicate, Illuminate: 50 Years of BJU Press Illustration</em> is a retrospective celebration of the art and artists of BJU Press throughout the years, and a testament to the enduring intentionality, role, and mission of BJU Press in Christian education. Join us for an Exhibition Reception in the Sargent Art Building on Saturday, October 12, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.</p>

<p>Enjoy a bus tour of historic sites in Greenville with BJU alum and faculty member John Nolan.</p>
<h3><strong>M&amp;G Update: An Un-Museum Tour (Museum &amp; Gallery, 11 a.m. | 1, 2, 3, 4 p.m.)</strong></h3>
<p>Since closing its doors in 2017, M&amp;G has still pursued its mission of using its Old Master collection to touch the whole person–mind, heart, and soul. The museum staff have been hard at work preserving and sharing the collection, pursuing a new building off campus, and serving thousands annually through ongoing programming for children and adults. For a glimpse of the work behind dismantling a collection to move, take a tour through the process with Executive Director, Erin Jones.</p>
<h3><strong>M&amp;G Kids: Adventures in Art (Rodeheaver Lobby, 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m.)</strong></h3>
<p>M&amp;G’s summer art day camp, <em>Museum on the Move</em>, <em>Homeschool Days</em>, and Cultural Discovery Tours cultivate curiosity and creative thinking in children through art! Bring your K5-8<sup>th</sup> grade student to sample M&amp;G’s interactive and engaging arts integrated programming! Your child will take part in a mini-lesson in art history in which we’ll introduce two significant and influential artists, <strong>Sandro Botticelli</strong> and <strong>Guido Reni</strong>. We’ll get a taste of what life was like for these painters and discover how their experiences affected their art making. To finish our time together kids will begin a mini-masterpiece of their own, replicating one of the masters’ works.</p>

The museum staff have been hard at work preserving and sharing the collection, pursuing a new building off campus, and serving thousands annually through ongoing programming for children and adults. For a glimpse of the work behind dismantling a collection to move, take a tour through the process with Executive Director, Erin Jones.

M&G’s summer art day camp, Museum on the Move, Homeschool Days, and Cultural Discovery Tours cultivate curiosity and creative thinking in children through art! Bring your K5-8th grade student to sample M&G’s interactive and engaging arts integrated programming! Your child will take part in a mini-lesson in art history in which we’ll introduce two significant and influential artists, Sandro Botticelli and Guido Reni. We’ll get a taste of what life was like for these painters and discover how their experiences affected their art making. To finish our time together kids will begin a mini-masterpiece of their own, replicating one of the masters’ works.
