Birthday of the World: An Interactive Children's Theatre Experience

Join us on the heels of Shabbat and the end of Sukkot for a special interactive theatre experience. Inspired by the beloved PJ Library book by Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen and written by Jonathan Schmidt Chapman, the Alliance Theatre of Atlanta is on the road performing this unbelievable show!

The J, and PJ Library, presents: The Birthday of the World, an immersive children’s theater experience. Through storytelling, music, visual wonder, and sensory exploration, children become active participants in a Jewish creation story about scattered sparks of light and their role in tikkun olam. The production introduces foundational Jewish values while fostering early literacy by bringing a cherished children’s book to life.

This production kicks off a 6-day tour of the show in partnership with local ECCs and synagogues, and Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School. Made possible by the Saul Brodksy Education Resource Fund and the Weil Interfaith Inclusion& Engagement Mini grants through the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.
