•• Billy Kenny ••
Leeds, UK | Berlin, Germany | Los Angeles, California
Dirtybird | This Ain't Bristol | Relief
https://soundcloud.com/
British producer, DJ and engineer Billy Kenny is widely accustomed to the lower, more aggressive frequencies in the amalgamation between UK Garage, House and Techno. His hit track "Work" has reigned over the bass heavy side of festivals ever since its release in August 2014, and continues to do so while more recent releases on Dirtybird, Sweat It Out and his co-run imprint This Ain't Bristol circulate the globe.
Hailing from Leeds, Billy now resides just across the channel in Germany, although his sound still remains more Radio 1 than Berghain. This prolific writer now has to be seen as one of the most influential ambassadors in Germany for the sound he represents, despite the fact that over the last year he's been touring more than ever across four continents.
He and friends hold the reigns to their flourishing label This Ain't Bristol, which has turned more than a few well respected heads since its launch in late 2014 and continues to pump out high quality releases to their ever-growing audience.
Unlike many producers on the circuit, Billy has perfected his craft behind the decks. His endless edits, live sampling, looping and unexpected choices of weaponry always make his unique set's one to remember for those listening.
•• Cut la Whut ••
[Homebreakin Records / Jackson Hole, Wyoming]
https://soundcloud.com/
Cut la Whut has been a key player in the Greater Teton Area's electronic music scene since the turn of the century. Mixing music, filling dance floors, and bringing loads of talent to the area over the last 18 years. You may have seen or heard him play at festivals this past year such as Shambhala Music Festival, 2017 Oregon Eclipse, Contour Music Festival, Burning Man, the Great American Beer Festival with Melvin Brewing (Small Brewery of the Year 2017) or maybe just touring the western half of North America. Heavily influenced by 90's hip hop, drum and bass and break beats early on in his career, he is known for his party rocker style of DJing. Not one to shy away from any tempo or style, these days you might find more house music and mid tempo jams in his sets to warm up your dancin shoes - rest assured that whatever the occasion, Cut will come correct behind the decks!
