Big Screen Harvest Party, Taber

 

Rowland Farms & The Taber and District Health Foundation are proud to welcome

George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett to Taber for the Big Screen Harvest Party!

 

As a major fundraising event to support the Taber and District Health Foundation, George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett will play on Saturday October 24^th in a Drive-In style concert at the Taber Agriplex. 

The Canadian Country Music Association award winners George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett will perform with their bands on stage, which will include multiple big screens and audio broadcast to car radios. There will be two one-hour shows, starting at 630 and 9 p.m., at the Taber Agriplex.

The drive-in concert replaces the usual fall fundraising telethon, which has ran for the previous 25 years.  Last year the telethon raised over $200 thousand dollars for the foundation, however under the current restrictions due to Covid-19 the telethon was forced to be cancelled. 

This year many organizations have had to look for new ways to raise money because of the pandemic, however TDHF Board Chair Tamara Miyanaga is excited for this new opportunity for the foundation and the town of Taber.  ”Since 1992, $6 million dollars have enhanced our community health care. It is time to celebrate and raise those important funds to provide support to the Taber Health Centre and local senior facilities like Linden View, Clearview, Prairie Rose Manor in Vauxhall, Bountiful House in Barnwell and Sunshine Manor in Grassy Lake. The Foundation is excited, with the help of important sponsors, to host Aaron Pritchett and George Canyon, to help raise funds for the best possible health care in our communities.”

Tickets will be available on Friday October 2 at 10 am through the Taber and District Health Foundation website tdhf.ca

Car pass prices will be $130 per car for premium spots or $105 for general admission, per maximum seatbelts in the vehicle.

Proceeds from the Big Screen Harvest Party will support the Taber and District Health Foundation

Online and text-to-donate options will also be available to support the foundation.
